Are You In Compliance?


As a leader in psychology for safety-sensitive employers, we must keep our clients abreast of industry regulations that could be impactful to keeping you in compliance during your hiring process, particularly with pre-employment evaluations. Employers need evaluations that are both efficient and defensible, and FMRT clinicians work to standardize their examinations with appropriate testing and collateral information.

When scheduling evaluations, it is critical that we are informed whether your applicant is already on the payroll. We know there are many scenarios that could cause an applicant to be already receiving compensation from the employer, but the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) specifies that certain questions cannot be asked of a current employee. For us to appropriately determine the type of evaluation you need, we must know the current employment status, simply whether you are already paying the person being scheduled for evaluation.

This will not change anything on your end. We will provide you with the appropriate evaluation that meets all the required guidelines, and keeps us both in compliance with all federal and state regulations.
